Microsoft 365 consultancy
for charities

Adjona Technology is a Microsoft 365 consultant for charities in the UK. We help trustees, managers and small teams make Microsoft 365 secure, well governed and genuinely useful, with fixed-scope reviews and packages sized for charity budgets.

What we help charities with

Practical Microsoft 365 help,
explained in plain English

Microsoft 365 security and governance reviews

A structured review of identity, access, sharing and configuration across Microsoft 365 and Entra, with findings written for trustees and managers, not just IT. Prioritised actions your charity can act on straight away.

SharePoint and Teams organisation

Fewer, clearer Teams and SharePoint sites with named owners and structures that match how your charity actually works. Staff and volunteers know where documents live and which version is current.

Permissions and external sharing

Access based on role and need to know, not convenience. We review owners, members, guests, shared links and leaver processes so former staff, trustees and volunteers no longer hold access they should not have.

Power Automate and operational workflows

Practical automation of enquiries, referrals, approvals and record keeping using Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, SharePoint and Teams, replacing processes that live in inboxes, spreadsheets and people's heads.

Purview, retention and data protection

Retention, sensitivity labels and data protection settings aligned to UK GDPR and your charity's obligations to beneficiaries, funders and regulators, so records are kept for the right length of time and no longer.

Copilot and AI readiness

Before adopting Microsoft Copilot or other AI tools, charities need to know where their data is and who can access it. We prepare your environment so AI surfaces the right information to the right people, and nothing else.

Nonprofit licensing

Microsoft nonprofit licensing,
without the confusion

Microsoft's nonprofit licensing changed significantly in July 2025, when the free grants of Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Office 365 E1 were discontinued. Eligible charities still receive up to 300 free Microsoft 365 Business Basic licences, and discounts of up to 75 per cent remain available on many plans, including Business Premium.

In practice, many charities are now paying for security and compliance features they are not using, or relying on free licences that no longer cover what their work requires. We help charities map roles to the right mix of licences, make full use of the entitlements they already pay for, and avoid surprises at renewal.

Fixed-scope packages

Sized for smaller charities,
priced with certainty

Most charities do not need an open-ended consultancy engagement. Adjona's work is built around fixed-scope reviews and solution packages with clear deliverables and clear prices, so trustees know exactly what they are approving.

Why Adjona

Consultancy grounded in
charity governance experience

Adjona Technology is a Microsoft AI Cloud Partner led by a consultant with genuine charity governance and leadership experience, not just technical certifications. We understand trustee responsibilities, funder expectations and the realities of running services on a small team, because we have sat on that side of the table.

That matters, because most Microsoft 365 problems in charities are governance problems first and technology problems second. Our recommendations are written for boards and managers, framed around accountability and risk, and implemented in ways a small organisation can actually sustain.
